Mukulungu is a wood strong, heavy and durable, so it has a great resistance to fungi attacks.
DRYING METHOD The drying process is simple but must be carried out slowly and carefully to avoid possible cracks.
MAIN USES AND WORKING This is an easy-to-work wood.
Nails and screws hold well but a pre-drilling is required.
Mukulungu is suitable for heavy carpentry, bridges, industrial floors, sliced veneer, cooperage, stairs and sleepers.
This wood is also widely used for outdoor decking due to its characteristics.
