TECHNOLOGICAL FEATURES Sapwood and heartwood are not clearly distinguished.
The wood has a pale yellow / gold color which tends to darken with yellowish gray tones over time.
It has a fairly coarse texture.
Generally it has a slightly oily and not at all elastic structure.
DRYING METHOD The artificial drying must be processed very slowly and carefully to avoid splitting and warping.
MAIN USES AND WORKING You can work very well with all the tools present in carpentry.
Moreover, it can be planed and cleaned very well and, for these reasons, it is considered a very decorative wood.
This is a wood used in the furniture industry, in plywood factories that produce veneers and furniture of normal production.
