TECHNOLOGICAL FEATURES The wood is perfect golden yellow or yellow orange slightly mottled.
Stable wood colour when used for interior applications.
The sapwood is well demarcated;
The texture is medium while the grain is irregular and often twisted.
Badì – Bilinga has also a great resistance to the parasite attacks.
DRYING METHOD It is difficult to dry, this is due to its high interlocked grain.
MAIN USES AND WORKING Generally, this wood is used for shipbuilding, heavy carpentry, sleepers, hydraulic works (even for seawater uses), decking, exterior paneling and bridges.
