PEFC Certificate

The acronym PEFC stands for Program for Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes.
PEFC is an international non-governmental and non-profit organization committed to promoting sustainable forest management through a Forest Certification,
which is based on compliance with the criteria and indicators defined in the Ministerial Conferences for the Protection of Forests in Europe.

The PEFC program therefore aims to encourage sustainable forest management:
– respects the natural growth rhythm of the forest and, based on this, harmonizes the rhythm of the cuts
– requires that the areas subject to cutting be reforested or, even better, regenerated naturally
-respect forest plants and animals
– protect the biodiversity of each habitat.

It is important to emphasize that this sustainable management also has very important positive effects on human life:
-improves the conditions of workers, protecting their rights and health
-respect the rights of indigenous peoples and landowners
-provides for the respect and incentive of the short chain.
