OLB certification (Origine et Legalité du Bois)

The OLB Certification allows you to certify the legality and traceability of timber through an official certificate issued by an independent third party.
With this certification Bureau Veritas guarantees compliance with the regulations relating to the environment, safety at work, forest management, the procurement and export of wood to meet the needs of its customers, also providing the certification of the exact geographical origin of the wood.

The OLB international system provides:
1) Strict and complete legality;
2) A traceability requirement suitable for forestry companies;
3) Simple and efficient timber monitoring (supply chain control).

Two types of certifications are possible:
-Certificate for forest operators / managers based on compliance with the reference regulatory framework: management and exploitation of timber, health and safety of personnel, protection and protection of the environment.
-Certificate of chain of custody for producers and traders based on the respect and control of traceability requirements of the wood within the company from purchase to sale through the processing stages.
