The wood is hard and heavy, very resistant.
It is durable and resists well to the attacks of fungi and insects.
DRYING METHOD It should be carefully and slowly dried to avoid splitting.
MAIN USES AND WORKING Sucupira can be easily sawn and cut.
Joints with glue hold firmly such as nails and screws.
This wood is suitable for outdoor constructions, flooring, stairs, fixtures and furniture, cabinet making, railway sleepers, veneers, interior decorations, turnery.
